Fun Things to do in Belltown While in the City

Catch a live show at The Crocodile

The Crocodile has been an established item on any things to do in Belltown list since long before it’s move to 1st avenue. Legends have played (and still play) this fantastic venue that has expanded to include multiple bars, a theater, and a hotel featuring different aesthetics and design for every room. No matter if the show is sold out, this great stage still keeps the show feeling intimate. We can’t say enough great things about the staff at The Crocodile. They’re certain to take care of you and make sure you have a fantastic night in Belltown. Check out their events calendar here!

Belltown Art Walk experience

The second Friday of each month is the premier night for art enthusiasts in Seattle! It's one of the best things to do in Belltown especially for locals looking to find something new. From 6pm-9pm there’s small businesses all over the Belltown neighborhood supporting local and big name artists by featuring their pieces in store. You’ll also find music, terrific food & drink, and always a new treat for your eyes at The Bakeree Belltown. (Of course, we’re a part of the art walk!) See the map by clicking here and make sure to snag something good to make your evening even better.

Seattle Center + Space Needle visit

An attraction that needs no introduction. The Space Needle is Seattle’s most iconic place to visit, but what’s a little lesser known is all the fun things to keep you entertained at the Seattle Center, especially during the Summer. Lots of cultural festivals, live music, and more can be found on their event calendar!

Pinball and drinks at Shorty’s

Shorty’s isn’t shy about their drinks, but the real thrill is the rows of pinball machines found inside this bar. The lights, the noise, and the people all contribute to the lively atmosphere of one of Belltown’s more approachable watering holes. It does get busy here, so be ready to get social and make some new friends. More info can be found on their website including menu and special events.

Olympic Sculpture Park for the views

Not wanting to battle any crowds? No worries! A trip to Olympic Sculpture Park will leave you feeling invigorated and free. The park features artwork courtesy of Seattle Art Museum and overlooks the water. It’s an unbeatable place to be when the sun sets in Seattle and is expansive enough to hang out without being bothered by anybody. (We’re not saying you should smoke a joint here, but we are saying that we like to smoke joints and we like Olympic Sculpture Park.)

Seattle Glass Blowing Studio with friends

Right near 5th & Bell, Seattle Glass Blowing studio offers classes for the public with options for public or private lessons in all things glass art! It's a great activity to do with a group of friends! Whether you're experienced or going to need to be instructed, the people hear provide a memory you're not going to forget, and to top it off you'll leave with a piece of your own making. Not your most typical of things to do in Belltown, but for sure one of the most engaging. Check out their classes or reach out to schedule something special by visiting their website, https://seattleglassblowing.com.

Just make sure you've got stopping by The Bakeree Belltown on your agenda to elevate your night. We carry the best cannabis selection in Seattle from vapes to edibles and all ranges of flower. See for yourself by visiting our Belltown location's online menu here. See you soon!
